As a coach, Zach specializes in listening, specification, and micro detail in the script. He can work on foundational techniques, preparations for auditions, as well as comfortability in the audition room. He can work with you on script analysis, character development, acting for film & camera, memorization techniques and cold reading.


Originally from Annapolis, MD Zach was introduced to acting the usual ways. He performed Shakespeare, various plays and musicals in elementary and middle school.  Interested in learning more about the craft, he attend Youth Film Academy a 3 year junior acting conservatory in Virginia.


He continued his training with Cheryl Felicia Rhoads, a renowned instructor that comes from LA and the Second City troop. As training continued, Zach started working professionally in the mid-atlantic to Norfolk, VA area.  


He attended UNCW (Wilmington, NC) for two years, where he acted in local productions and started working as a youth coach for the Maultsby Talent Agency.


He continued his training in NC, and during the summers home he worked with Cheryl and attended various classes in MD and Washington DC including an “intensive program” with Tom Todoroff in NYC. Training included, scene study/ character studies, Meisner, and alexander techniques, stunt/ fight stage combat studies and more. He attends Margie Habers “Master Class”, attended Anthony Meindl’s advanced classes, UCB 101, Chubbuck’s advanced classes, and several workshops and intensives.


He has booked for multiple national, regional and independent productions from dramatic to comedic commercials, shows, pilots and films. He has had principal roles on dozens of Discovery Channel shows, History Channel, National Geographic, House of Cards, Mindhunter, and several more.


Moving to California 3 years ago, he is a working actor and recent projects include a lead in “The Fast and the Furious” by Asylum Productions (Syfy), co star on Mindhunter seen on Netflix (David Fincher) and as series regular  role in “A Grunts Life” by Veterans TV.He is represented by Tangerine Talent for both commercial and theatrical.


He has been coaching for Jack Turnbull’s actorsite.com/ Awesome Acting Club for over 3 years in live classrooms, summer camps and on Skype.


Zach offers private lessons live or for those with time or distance issues, he can set up Skype meetings.
